The site currently hosts variety of sweets and savories from the states like Andhra, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Kerala. The site is soon to host authentic dishes from multiple other states of India.
Native taste is one of the 1st e-commerce portal to host products that are not just any dish but are identities of many towns in Andhra Pradesh and to facilitate their distribution at a national level. Example: Bandar Laddu, Madugula Halwa and Attreyapuram Pootharekulu are a few of them.
Launched by Shri Pella Raghunatha Reddy, Information Technology Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NativeTaste is the 1st e-commerce portal to start out of Start-up Village in Vizag.
Special-care-packaging has been implemented to retain the original taste and texture of the dish while it travels miles before reaching the customer.
Founder of Native Taste, Mr. Rajasekhar says that the team behind this venture including himself are very passionate about food and travel, which is the reason why the conception of Native Taste has happened.
A highly efficient and qualified team is working on this venture and aims to scale it at a fast pace. The team includes founders Rajasekhar and Bhyrav Murthy who are computer science engineers and have worked with MNCs like IBM overseas. The marketing efforts of the venture are being led by Gowthami who has pursued her MBA from IIM Lucknow and has worked on digital marketing of a leading e-commerce firm in the past. The technical and operational team is comprised of 7 young and enthusiastic recruits from diverse backgrounds.
